If you would like to join the Hanover Newcomers Club please click on the link at the bottom of the page for a copy of our Membership Application. Fill it out and mail it with your check made payable to Hanover Newcomers Club:
Jodie Phillips Who can join? Any resident of Hanover, whether you have just moved in or have been a resident for several years, is welcome to join the Newcomers’ Club. What do I get for my membership dues? Membership dues helps offset the cost of our meetings and events. Occasionally special events will require additional fees but for the most part we try to stay within the budget our Membership dues allows. In addition you will receive our monthly newsletter with details about upcoming events and club happenings. Our Club Year runs September 1st through June 30th. We take a break during the summer for most club events, however we do continue to run playgroups and meals for moms during that time. Dues are $40.00 a year. How many members does the club have? There are currently about 95 women in the Newcomers’ Club. Can I try the Hanover Newcomers’ Club before I join? All prospective members are welcome to attend a meeting or event before joining. What is the age range? All ages are welcome. Most of our members are between the ages of 25 and 50 but everyone is welcome. What if you do not have the interest group I am looking for? The Hanover Newcomers’ Club is always looking for new ways to meet the needs and interests of our members. This is your club! If you have an idea for a new group please let one of our Board Members know. How do I go about making friends? Come, join in, try something new. Playgroup is a great way to get to know other members in a casual daytime environment. Our monthly meetings and many social events are a fun way to get out of the house and meet new people in the evening. If you want to get more involved we are always looking for volunteers for our community service initiatives and fundraisers. Another great way to meet people is by becoming a member of our Board. Join us, we can’t wait to get to know you better. Can I put advertisements in the newsletter? Yes, you can advertise in our newsletter. You do not have to be a member to be able to advertise.
