Community Service

One of the missions of our club is to help our members learn more about the town of Hanover. Annually we run several Community Service efforts to help different organizations in town. In the past these have included the Hanover Food Pantry, Hanover Visiting Nurses Association, Hanover Schools, local sports programs and the Hanover Council on Aging. Please let us know if you are interested in helping our Community Service committee or know of a local need that we might be able to assist with.

Other ways to get involved:

Meals for Moms – please let our Meals for Moms committee know if you are willing to help prepare or deliver a meal for one of our members.

Cradles to Crayons – a local organization that accepts new and gently used clothing, books and baby items. Check out their website at www.cradlestocrayons.org

Boxtops for Education – Boxtops for Education is a program run by General Mills to help raise money for schools. Both Center/Sylvester School, Cedar School and the Hanover Middle School all participate in the program and have raised thousands of dollars for themselves by collecting Boxtops for Educations coupons found on many food items.

Please consider helping with this effort by clipping Boxtops of participating products. Collection bins are located at the Transfer Station, Salmond School.

If you prefer to help a specific school contact the coordinator for that school:
